Hi Keith,

sorry it's taken a while to get back to you. I've done that and the
phone appears to work but people who call say we sound a bit 'tinny'
(no we're not normally like that). The other problem is that when I
plug another phone into another socket this phone rings continuoulsy
until you take the german one 'off-hook'. Put it down again and the
other phone rings continuously again. I've tried a number of
different sockets and a doubler into the master socket and the same
thing happens. Any ideas what I've done wrong?
