RE: Mv1000 cont...

Good question...

The new cameras I bought are colour during the light then turn B&W
during darkness...

What would this do.....

I will still be happy with ANY pictures at this stage..

B.

Not followed this thread much but I connect 3 B+W cams and 1 colour into my
MV1000. The colour cam shows up in B+W through it though. TBH I've not had
much time to troubleshoot (could be down to my home made video amp circuit)
but was wondering if the MV1000 will only support ALL B+W or ALL colour
cams, not a mix???? Anyone got both working simultaneously?

Paul.

I have now reset back to the factory defaults, re configured and still
nothing.

I tried a cross over cable to a stand alone PC that is on the same subnet
mask etc but still nothing.

I have tried different cat5 cables, nothing...

I think I have bought a duff Mv1000....bugger...

Good whilst it lasted.....

I could try that......if I could get the thing to work at all now!

I think I might use a crossover cable and connect it straight to a PC and
see if that works....

Thanks anyway....still trying...

PS sorry but can not email you direct, have to send to the group...

Hi Brian,

It looks like the mv1000 is redetecting cameras every 60 seconds.
This maybe why you can't see them.

I think it's on the camera page that you can set the re detect option. Try
changing it to a much bigger figure. Or for now disable it.

Regards,

Paul
