Hi Brian,

Do you get any errors in the serial output from the MV1000.

If you use something like HyperTerminal and switch on text capture. Boot
the
MV1000 it will log all the info. Stop the capture and then e-mail me the
file I'll have a look at it and see if there is anyone different to mine.

Regards,

Paul

Hi Steve, I can not access them at all tonight!....

I have re-booted the Mv1000 and just re-booted my server but nothing.....

I still feel that the accessing the cameras is a problem with ISA server
but
as to the B&W I aint got a clue..

I think I will load all the defaults to the Mv1000 and try again.

Is there any BIOS upgrades or the likes to be done on these boxes?

Thanks also to John for his help, I will go away and sulk then try again.

B.

It's either config or a duff MV1000, by the sounds of it.

Yeah, works just fine for me.

As I mentioned previously, I have a problem with IR reflecting back from
the front of the camera causing a 'halo' effect at night, which I'm not
best pleased about. Paul Smith had the same problem. I e-mailed Henry's
about it and here's the reply:

Hi Steve,

Yes we know about it....AV Tech are trying to come up with a solution.
Its caused by the IR LEDS being seen a by the Camera. We have another
Model
that is OK.
Its the COL10/25IR

See http://www.cctv-centre.co.uk/cctv/col1025ir.htm

If you wish to pay the difference and upgrade to the Col10?25IR, please
return the 527L with a Letter.
