RE: DMX

Yep.

After much waiting (And a rather long story!) I am now in possession of
my ColorKinetics Color Wheel which will be for day-to-day control and
dimming, remote on/off functionality will be provided by connecting the
PSU's to a c-bus relay output. Hopefully by the end of the week I will
have my two iMOPS PSU's and I can then spend a rare day off on Monday
installing my 20+ iCove lights.

The iCove units themselves will be hidden behind the exposed ceiling
beams on each side of the room.

For some insane reason I have the desire to add sound to light
functionality to the set up as well even though all the units are only
installed in one small room which is my office (Which also contains Node
'0'.) it sounds like a fun idea.

How well it will work, who knows! DMX connection is simple using the
RJ45 data jack on the iMOPS PSU's.

Many thanks

Rob Mouser

Rob,

Is this for driving your color kinetics units?
Having icove lights responding to sound via DMX would be interesting.

Martin
