RE: Dodgy eBay antics...



There's a lot of dodgy stuff going on eBay at the moment, mostly from gits
who hijack other accounts.  ALWAYS be very wary if you can only pay by
money
transfer (basically cash) and if other bidders identities are hidden.

I've been waiting for the Nokia 6600 to come out, and batches of these
appear on eBay every couple of days, in every case they've been fraudulent
(when I asked them to send a photo, most declined, and one whipped another
photo off the web, and apologised for having to put his banner on it, as
there are too many dodgy people on eBay.  Of course, the banner covered the
original photo owner's banner).

Could you forward the header information? Has the auction actually been
ended? It could be another scam from a seller intent on ruining another
seller's account.
