Re: OT : Digi Camera Buying Guide

Hi,

I personally do not recommend Li-Ion (proprietary)Akks for digital
cameras...
They have a not so good authonomy and after about 1 year you need to buy a
new one, at a very high price.
My experience with an old Canon Powershot A50 camera was not so good
especially because of the batteries (just an example: a new original akk
for
it was 100EURO).
4xAA (NiMH) type is the best option. When needed, you can use even
standard
Alkaline batteries..and the authonomy is great. I can take more than 100
pictures with one recharge, using the display too.
A very good and cheap 3MP camera is Canon Powershot A70.
See the user reviews on site.

BR,
Dan
P.S. I have a PS A40 (1.5years old), probably the best 2MP digital camera
available.
The new 2MP model is A60.
