Having just joined ... delighted to be able to answer this!

3 Mob service Operators in Ireland - Meteor, O2 and Vodafone

The format of the Mob Numbers is-
xxx - Operator
yyy zzzz - Individual Subscriber Nr.

The (xxx) Operator numbers are - 085, 086 and 087

To call an 085 number from within the country, on either a
landline or a mobile, simply dial 085 yyy zzzz.
To call from outside the country, dial +353 85 yyy zzzz.

Can someone tell me what the format of an Irish mobile phone number
is - eg number of digits, which bit is the area code/operator code,
etc?

Thanks
Alex
