Give me more base

Hi

My multiroom audio system comprises of an IR routing pre-amp and 6 separate
power amps for each zone. I have one zone where I want very discrete audio.
But off course top quality sound. :-)

I think I am going to use some Linn Sweetspots (http://tinyurl.com/jblo) built into the
face of a cupboard but these units don't give great base, I have some in my
on-suite. Can anyone recommend a decent (Not too obtrusive) sub. It would
need to run off the power amplifier in some way at speaker level (I cant
think of any other connection method that would adjust with the line level
of the pre-amp.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
