RE: Air Con



sorry what i meant was to put the outdoor unit in the roof (loft)
not outside though.  Then I will require no permision as I will just
have a outdoor vent unit in the loft space.

but will the air con unit still function, does the vent unit have
to be outside in the open. My office where I work has
it's units in the car park on one of floors which gave me
the idea.

I doubt it and I wouldn't recommend it TBH, listed buildings are always a
problem with this.
