You might want to be aware that current Police response strategy for
monitored alarm systems is that there must be two sensors triggered,
or verification that there is an intruder before they will respond.
This can be acheived through seperate room sensors, or a breaker and
movement type setup.

For your setup, assuming you have breakers on the doors leading to
the hallway, you'd want both a breaker and the hall movement
triggered to set the alarm.  Unless you walk downstairs and out the
door, you can move around at least to the point where you can
disable the alarm.  Anything you can do to reduce false positives is
going to please you and your neighbours!  What about 30 seconds from
a single sensor trigger to disable the alarm, before the siren goes
off?  This is something I've been thinking of.  with HA, you could
flash all of the internal lights during that period, which could be
pretty disorientating for an intruder.
