Totally agree, although I think that there could be a solution based
on DDAR's already? Certainly my setup doesn't having snchronisation
yet.

It was probably me misunderstanding what you were comparing WHA to,
the current middle ground that we both have is whole house
availability of a source without the synchronisation that makes it
WHA. After re-reading your previous post I don't think there is any
disagreement and my post probably did nothing to clarify the point :-)

As to the purpose of the poll, ask Mark ;-) I personally didn't vote
in it because both options are required as you originally stated.
