RE: [OT] Nokia Ringtones

Exactly. I don't mind the melodies in the car or at home, but on a client
site it really is the equivalent of wearing a 'numerous' tie. Nokia are
touting the 7250 as a trendy phone, which surely means that maybe some of
the buyers will be a bit kool, and a bit mysterious (I doubt I'm either of
those!). There's nothing kool and mysterious about the pre-loaded tones
;-)
unfortunately.

I now know of half a dozen people with the same dilemma, looks like an
up-tapped market to me! - anyone wanna build a website??

It's all about choices though..... any normal phone you get a selection
of "normal" ring tones that sound like a phone, plus a plethora
of songs
etc, with the option of adding more songs either by typing in or by SMS
/ WAP..... at the moment, it appears that these phones are *impossible*
to make sound "normal", and the only way to make them more
"professional" is to switch them to vibrate.
