Thanks for all the advice.

Surveyor has just left.  Verdict:

HA stuff DOESN'T increase the value of the property.  In some cases in can
DECREASE the value, due to the perceived extra maintenance requirements
(!!!)  Advice: Take your kit with you.

Time for a new hobby I think.  UKHA_Fishing anyone? ;-)

I have a good friend how is a surveyor and hes says that whilst the Home
Automation kit, wont particularly add to the value of the house, it should
in most cases increase the probability of a sale, due to its WOW value.

Just his comments - not mine.
