Re: Wireless Access Point for Xbox - Help!

Jim

Yeah crossover should sort it. Not a lot to do with power, more about ins
and outs. Think of it like this, your thumb is data out, and your
forefinger
is data in. Touch both hands together, thumb to thumb, forefinger to
forefinger, now you have data out going to data out, which wont work. Touch
your thumb on one hand to your forefinger on the other (cross them over),
and you now have data out on one hand to data in on the other. A hub/switch
does this for you inside.

~Jules (this demo requires two hands, apologies to anyone who has lost a
limb)

Julian,

No - its a normal cable. Just had a couple of people suggest a cross over
cable or a hub :-) - something todo with the power?

So i'll try them tonight

Thanks

Jim
