A re-boot has cured the problem! thanks mate, I was getting worried!

That's the problem with loving a bit of kit too much, you are really down

I had exactly the same thing happen on Sat evening.  Since Tivo wasn't
recording I powered down then back on at it seems fine so far - Not exactly
sure why though, which makes me a little concerened..

Has anyone had this problem?

I have fitted new batteries into my Pronto, tried the peanut
remote...nothing..

The HV unit is about 8 inches above the TiVo and it shows it is receiving
IR
signals....
