Only really need two serials, into your ITX (you can get USB UPSs now,
might
be easier if you're low on connections). UPS software can then shutdown
your
PC remotely if the power gets too low. I guess Sky+ can handle power loss,
but its always nicer to give it less chance to mess up by UPSing it. I
wouldn't really think you'd need a status from your UPS on Sky+ as you wont
really be able to perform a shutdown, unless you just want it for battery
health status etc.
