TiVoWeb problem
Well, this afternoon I finally got around to installing tivoweb,
tytool, Joe, and the tivo-bin tools package on my TiVo.
Mostly, it's gone quite well. TiVo sees the network, the network sees
TiVo, and I can ftp and telnet to TiVo from my pc.
However... tivoweb doesn't seem to work. Sure, I can
run "/var/hack/tivoweb-tcl/tivoweb console" successfully, and get
the "Awaiting connections" message. And if I try running it
again, I
get an error message saying that httpd-tt.tcl is already running. But
if I throw "http://192.168.1.200"; into IE, it
all falls over.
Actually, disregard this message. I've just tried it again, so that I
can get the error message wording right, and it works!
All of a sudden I feel much happier :-)
