This looks like it may make a fairly cheap HA display:

It has a colour 320x240 display.
Runs on an ARM9.
Cost is 99BGP.

Has a serial port....

Looks like a JavaVM and Linux will be ported to it http://sourceforge.net/projects/gp32linux
