Your correct Mark, the Pronto is not perfect, in any guise. But it's the
best we've got to work with and it can work a multitude of devices, is
virtually fully programmable and I use the Pronto Pro and the older 940
one-handed. So it is possible.
With some clever programming it is easy to use, even for complete noobs
to a Pronto inside five minutes, otherwise I'd have never bothered with
it but it does take perseverance at times with the programming.
You may also notice, that despite the price, as you mention, is far more
realistic pricing than any similar option is.
