That such much easier than simply moving the cable which was obscuring
the LCD! ;-)

I have the Brennenstuhl Wattage and current meter but was irritated to
find that the orientation of the meter socket was such that the lead of
the unit being measured was obscuring the LCD display.

On closer examination of the internal and a little handy work, I was
able
to reorientate the plug and socket assembly by 180 degrees. Two notches
have to be cut on the inner ring of the socket plastic faceplate and one
of the red cables rerouted to complete the modification.
