Can't help with the specific connector, but I have had success in the
past wiring power cables into the glove box. There's often power
there (if you have a light in the glove box), any holes/heath
robinson effors are out of sight and there's usually sufficient
clearance to be able to shut the glove box event when the cable
is "out".
