Did I not say midband was a sick joke? :(

If they had implemented a 128K service available 24x7 for a fixed monthly
price comparable to Broadband, assigned a static IP address and allowed the
D-Channel to lift the B channels from the "outside", giving at
least the
illusion of always on, then it might have been worthwhile, but given BT's
heel dragging about implementing the D channel in any realistic way, it was
always clear that this wasn't going to be the case :

With no D-Channel available, Midband looked shaky. With a connection time
cap, it's a joke. Precisely what is the difference between highway and
midband?

I wish they had just spent the money on a few more dslams, rather than
wasting everyone's time with this ISDN re-badge.

An interesting note: Spellcheck suggested "misbrand" as an
alternative to
"midband". ;)
