i too am using xantech with sky+, it was overamplified at first , meaning
that i the stick on emmitters had to be used about 6" away from the
kit, but
this turned out to be that the PSU to drive the xantech was not regulated
and was giving about 17v rather than the 12v. i swapped to a regulated and
it all now works perfectly.
