I'm planning on mounting a 15" panel on the bathroom wall with the
electronics
behind the wall (Running Freevo under Linux).

My thought was what about if I potted the entire display and electronics to
save
>from
potting compound and still leave the vents open.

The key issue as I see it will be with heat dissipation through the potting
compound. I have an old but working laptop screen that I thought I would
experiment with before I go and screw up one of my 15" displays.
Potting
compund is a one way trip !

Anyone think I'm not totally bonkers ?
