what will the ps2 network adapters allow you to do ?
can i access it through my lan ?

      Sorry - a bit slow answering this (from
work).
      
      Sony _will_ be releasing it in Europe, but I
can't find out about dates yet.  I'll ask around when everyone's back
from lunch.
      
      XBox networking will be out soon too
(although it's going to be more restrictive, and MS will control the
servers.)
