Hi Chris

Sorry I have not got back to you sooner only I have been very very
busy.

A quick update:

I collected 150 units, 36 of which were faulty. I got one of my
engineers to drive down and swap them yesterday. I need to test
these to make sure they are OK (they have supposedley been tested).
If is goes well everyone that was on the list will get the full
amount requested. I have had a number of emails asking for more
units. I tried to get another twenty units from the supplier
yesterday but he would not sell anymore as yet, he says he wants to
test all thats left. He would not even sell me the faulty units so
that I could try to repair them. The suppliers can at best be
described as dell boy and rodney, I've not seen the vehicle but
swear blind it will be a yellow reliant robin !! The warehouse is an
old barn at the bottom of a dirt track just full of old computers
and other electronic equipment.

These units are legit they came from a company called
lighting technology projects from abbey road in London who are in
receivership, if you do a search on google you will find there site
with the details. So we have a bargain, but once the units are gone
there will be no more. I will keep trying to get what is left but it
always means two visits, one to collect and one to swap units. If I
buy what is left I know a high proportion will be faulty and then it
is the time required to repair them. If I do get any I will offer
them to the people who have already shown interest.

I will hopefully post again tonight with details so that I can start
packing up the units.
