The problem there is I have 4 IBM 44gb Deskstar(?) drives all 18 months old ....running my HA system.

So it looks like Maxtors work and Seagates don't...
 
...my thoughts on IBM drives are strong and well known to anyone reading the group over the last few days!

I'm also on the brink of ordering one.
 
Does anybody know if it needs any changes to the dish to box cabling? I know it has a 'quad LNB' to feed it's dual tuners but can't find any info as to whether that means that there's an extra downlead to the box needed. That's be a right pain as I've filled up all the cable outlet slots in my AV cabinet and I thought (silly me) that I'd pulled all the cables I'd ever need down the wall behind it :-/

I understand it's simply a case of powering it off, installing a bigger
HD and doing a system reset on the box...

...but I don't have one so don't hold me to it.
