OT: Plasma UK/USA

Looking for plasma screens that would work here in the UK, and if I get
xferred to New York would also work there. Local home cinema place
claims
the Pioneers won't (having spoken to Pioneer tech dept), and the fact
that
they claim to display NTSC is neither here nor there. Any thoughts?
