IIRC, pop each CD in, move the track required to the window for the CD you want to copy to make the compilation up. After that Nero asks for the original CD with the track required as and when.

 

It is do-able.

What's the easiest way to make up a compilation CD that is playable on a normal CD-player?  

 

I have a pile of CDs here, and a list of which track is needed from which. None of them are currently ripped in any format.

 

I have Nero installed, but a good Internet connection, so can install other software if it's recommended.
