Subject: [ACE] New ACE module released

All,

As part of the upcoming ver 4 release (still don't know when, this year I
hope) I have a new, simple, small, free utility for ACE.  If you have
HomeVision then you may have heard of the new HV Desktop program.  Well, the
new ACE module is called ACE-Desktop and works the same way.

ACE-Desktop is a small program that accepts a command line parameter that
can be any ACE api command.  When ACE-Desktop is run it gets the api command
>from quits.  It is not visible when run in this manner.

The idea is to allow you to create icons on the desktop that can send ace
commands.  But, I am also using it along with Windows Scheduler to schedule
ace api commands at regular intervals (every minute, every hour, etc.).

It is on the ACE download web page and the ZIP includes a readme with
installation, setup and usage instructions.  The readme can also be viewed
