Solid, flat, single gang faceplates with 4 'flaps' (ala BT phone
sockets) covering RJ45 sockets is what I'd ideally like.

3 would be acceptable too, and only having 2 sockets per single gang
is probably wasting a bit of space as I don't want umpteen of these
dotted around either.

I don't want ones that jut out on a raised 'shelf' either

Although I can see the benefits of downward angled sockets as seen in
the NetShop catalogue (both of these types, if you understand my
description, were featured in that catalogue), I'd still rather have
flat faced ones ala BT phone sockets since they look the most ordinary
and nondescript.

I don't think the ones with the plug-in modules would look terribly
nice scattered around the house. Any thoughts anyone? My female side
coming out obviously... ;-)
