can anyone enlightened me how to use a multimeter.
to clarify -
I have two wires coming into my thermostat. I guess if they are shorted
the
central heating comes on. How do i measure the current and voltage passing
along
these wires so i can get a suitable relay so i can control it using
homeseer and ocelot.
where do you put the pins of the multimeter when measure current and
voltage.
i am always worried about shorting something.
