Cool,

another Xara user.

I used visio only because it has a floor planning toolset drag and drop
walls etc, even put furniture in.

But Xara can do this quite easily, i.e. scale drawings, and given a few
minutes you can knock up scaled furniture and components. And being a
completely sexy vector graphics package allows you to modify and scale all
the components really easily.

I exported the visio map into Xara to then create images for homeseer to use
for ultraview.

I use a program called Corel Xara for this kind of thing...
