Actually Keith, I’m running cables for my Sky box, but as part of the new Sky+ deal you get a second subscription for a fiver, but the box must be connected to the same phone line as Sky plus – which in my place is one of the analogue ports on a DECT cordless PBX. I’ve offered it to my nephew for use in his bedroom, and running CAT5 up to there would involve around a 200m run and lots of redecoration.

First fix starts on Monday, and there is some CAT5 in there – in fact screened stranded CAT5 going in and out of every light switch.

Tim.

Hi Tim,

We did tell you to install some CAT5.

You wouldnt have had a problem with the phone line if you had :-)

This site lists them but no prices.....

Keith

I need one for my Sky Digital installation, and have just spent the last hour trying to find one. Anyone got one for sale, or know where I can get one?

Tim.
