Abit GeForce 4 MX Siluro with video Out - £60 or so from dabs

Uses nVidia nView - you can set the overlay so that all video run full screen on output 2 (ie TV)

So you just double click a video , and it plays full screen on your TV

Oh, and the TV quality is fantastic. A few people thought it was a DVD i was showing them. It's that good.

[ukha_d] PC to TV
.
Category:

Hi,

Anyone out there managed to get a decent output to TV from their PC.

Im wanting to pipe my PC screen over the coax around the house so i can monitor the HA software, use things like
CallerID etc.

Ive tried with an old-ish Hauppauge card and also with a new ATI card both are very-very poor through composite and S-VHS
connections - i only seem to be able to read the text in 640x480 mode which aint much good.

So if anyone can recommend a good PC-TV converter which they have use succesfully on a normal (Non-progressive scan TV)
id love to hear from them.

Cheers

Jim
