RE: WLAN Kit



I had to order some proprietary connectors and coax crimp tools to extend the antennae on my Compaq cards, and ordered them from the US, but that was when wireless LAN was the exception rather than the rule. Surely there must be someone in the UK selling the connectors and coax so we can at least crimp up our own leads at sensible prices?

 

I may be in the market for an external high gain antenna in a few months time, and although the Cisco stuff is available off the shelf, “rip-off Britain” seems to be the case with reverse polarity and reverse thread connectors.
