one word: HOMESEER

You will like the asp scripting, customisability etc, check out http://www.homeseer.com and check their discussion pages, they have a section for people moving into HA and using Homeseer.

Hello,

I've been a member of this group for a week or so, thus far I haven't seen an answer to my question which I'm sure must have been mentioned a hundred times.

I'm just starting out with HA, I'm a computer programmer/architect and have lots of ideas that I want to mess around with. The big question I have is, should I go for Homevision or something like a CM12U with, for example, homeseer/bespoke software ?

Any advice appreciated or if anyone can point me to a URL where this has previously been discussed that would be great.

Many thanks,

Mally.
