Doing pretty much the same thing, Using Nildram as the ADSL provider,
and have just purchased a Solwise 715 ADSL Router, this has 4
ethernet ports they do do a single port but I elected that 4 was a
was choice.

I will let you know how it goes. BT are coming in on the 16th to
migrate the ISDN line.
