I’ve never got round to using it, but I do own a miniature sandblaster. Badger (who manufacture modeling Airbrushes) make one which will run off a small compressor, or can of compressed air.

Yeah. "Sandblasting"  would've probably ended up as "rubbing with sandpaper"
or "wire brush attached to electric drill" :-)
