Duh - static IP addresses! Of course!

Thanks, Patrick... that's the way I'll do it. I'm not really worried about sniffing. I only have about 5 devices that I want to be wireless, so they can have static IPs easily... while living on the DMZ.

If you are not worried about plain text traffic being sniffed, then
you should be able to establish a "sensibly secure" system:

- Allocate a static IP address to your wireless card.
- Allow routing of this IP address to your secure intranet, filtering
by Mac address at the firewall.

Voila, only *your* wireless card can access your intranet.
Common sense says: use ssh for telnet sessions & tunnel non-anon ftp,
rely on windows encrypted password exchange for authentication.

I'd be happy with that level of security in a domestic environment
myself.
