There are no Linux drivers or software tools either on the CD or the web

te though. Haven't installed mine yet so don't know if there's a hardware

etup menu on startup. Mark McC also had one - he may know?

Should do, raid is mostly a hardware solution, and you can choose a
specific filesystem format for the array at install time :)
