I have LW11s, so no need for it :-).
I just thought if I don't have them, it could be interesting, but again, you
don't want FirM just for light control, you want it for all IR traffic.
I don't know if it's behind the faceplate that it would transmit to other
equipment.

  Why not just fit the IR transmitter behind the faceplate for the IR
  lightswitch?
