According to the UK standard, MPT1340, it needs to operate between 433.720
MHz and 434.120 MHz.  Old models (prior to sometime between 1994 and 1997 -
I can't quite remember) could operate on 417.900 MHz to 418.100 MHz.

How you turn this information into a remote that will lock/unlock your car
is another matter...!!
