Logging from HomeVision / ACE / Comfort

I've got Comfort linked to HomeVision and also separately to a PC
running ACE. I've also got a Smartfit unit running the central
heating and the Smartfit Comfort UCM. Comfort reports changes in
room and hot water temperature as they happen.

Temp changes are reported on the Comfort serial bus (available to
both HV and ACE) by a string such as "CT011A". In this example the
1A represents 26 Deg C (Hex number) hot water.

I'd like to log all these (but nothing else) messages to a text or
CSV file etc, along with time/date stamp. I would then import this
into Excel and graph the changes so that I can design an effective
heating control system through HV (i.e. know how long it takes to
heat the tank, how long it takes to heat the house etc etc). I think
HV can do this logging but haven't got my head round it - has anyone
done something similar?

Any pointers as to how to do it?

Thanks,

Paul.
