You could do it like this:-

         Serial transmit: "write to file say.txt "The temperature is "
         Serial transmit: Variable #8 (Workshop Temp) value as ASCII bytes
without leading zeros
         Serial transmit: """

This was pinched from ACE api32.txt file but it's pure Homevision stuff.

PS. I did have a quick look to see if ACE could do this via a Comfort
action but could not work it out, maybe Dan can say?
