streaming audio

Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a box that sits between BB
phone line
and my hi-fi that will enable me to listen to streaming audio via the
net?

I have something that will enable this wirelessly via a PC, but I'm
interested in something
that could operate as a standalone but would avoid me having to run it
through a PC, or 
having to buy any further hi-fi kit. (the internet stereos are all well
and
good, but I have a
good system and don't need another one, thanks)

oh, I don't have a network at home, so it would have to be a
standalone.
