FS: (maybe) Philips 36" TV

All

I had to buy this TV a year ago because my old one went up in smoke,
otherwise I would have waited until now, and gone for a Plasma.  Now I've
not yet cleared this with SWMBO, but if I can get a reasonable price for the
telly, then I might get away with buying a plasma.  I can't be bothered with
eBay etc, but I thought I'd check to see if any of you guys are in the
market for a big CRT TV.

Various reviews can be found here - at the time (a year ago) it was
considered the best on the market...

It is, of course, in perfect condition, with all the manuals, receipts etc
etc.  We've not used the cabinet, but that's also in perfect nick. It was
bought from John Lewis (so therefore has a 5 year guarantee) at the end of
September last year for ?1,395.42 (on a price match, normal price was
?1,735).

The picture really is excellent for a CRT, though obviously it's a big and
very heavy unit (75kg).

If anyone is interested, please email me off-list.

Pete
