Quite a lot actually.
6.5 GBit (I'll ignore that it was typed as Gigabyte) is simply huge.
Also, define 'on a backbone'. To me, that says you are a few hops from
the backbone. In fact, define backbone. And past all of that, it means
nothing if your port is limited to 100Mbit or worse.
The ISP hosting www.logics.co.uk is EV1 ... even they don't claim a 6.5
GBit backbone (http://www.ev1.net/english/about/network.asp).
In fact
looking at their network, their fastest 'backbone' link is 45MBits.
Even WorldCom, who have one of the biggest networks in the world, only
have a fastest backbone speed of 10 Gbps. And remember, they are the
network provider who control all the bandwidth and not an ISP who lease
bandwidth.
Despite appearances, I do sometimes know what I am talking about.
