Yes, for the moment.... and I do not intend to make it compatible with other zoning hardware in the near future.

I have a lot of other things on my wishlist with a higher priority.

A nice thing to do with the IR zonning is to use standard touch/infrared dimmers to control light in every room without needing a X10 device. They do not understand the transmitted code, just the carrier, so you can select in which room to start/stop/dim the light using only infrared zonning.

  Hi Nick,

As Frank probably is sleeping now (late night in AU), I will try to answer
you...:-))

Yes, you can control all your IR equipments from the PC, using a
standalone interface, web interface or AutoM8it framework.
The zone in which you want to send the command is a parameter in the
interface.
The same for the input plugin... You will be able to ask FirM about the
zone when a new IR command will be received.

If you use AutoM8it, you get the full IRM functionality and more from the
infrared plugins, no need to use stand-alone application.

  Best regards,
  Dan

P.S. The IRM and AutoM8it plugins with FirM support and loaded with a lot
of new features will be available in a couple of days.
Check this list and you'll be updated about this.
