I agree.  If I hadn't been able to fit our CRT at time of bulding the house
I very probably would have gone for LCD.

It's the only way, otherwise you'll be walking round a huge box (or if your
name is Harris - balance it on the dinning table).

Has anyone here ever mounted an LCD in another room and pointed through a
little perspex window or something to try and shut out the noise/heat?  That
would be nearly ideal.
